OYSTER POINT | MOUNT PLEASANT SC
Just 4 miles from the beach, Oyster Point is a new 600 acre residential housing development in Mount Pleasant overlooking Hamlin Sound and Gray Bay. DR Horton is planning to build a total of 600 properties, including townhomes starting around $300,000 and single family residences starting in the high $300,000 range up to more than $1,000,000. The luxury Emerald product homes are planned to start at $500,000 up to more than $1,000,000.
In addition, Oyster Point has been granted a special Conservation Landscape District zoning that allows it to build homes closer together so long as it preserves 25 percent of the lands for greenspace or preservation of historic interests. That means homes will be nestled beneath hundreds of historic oaks with pockets of greenspace throughout the development. One of the interesting historic elements of the site is that it includes remnants of a Civil War fort designed by Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee which the developer is planning to open to the public at the completion of Phase I.

FIND OUT WHY YOU NEED A BUYER'S AGENT
If you are interested in looking at new construction homes for sale, I strongly suggest you consider going into new developments in the company of a realtor who will represent you as a buyer’s agent. The builder’s sales staff are usually very friendly and are quite knowledgeable, but they are there principally to sell houses and are not required to protect your interests at all. In general, since they are in the employ of the builder they serve the builder’s interests only. So the question is, who is going to help you and protect your interests?
As your agent I will help you work with the builder’s sales staff to ensure that the entire transaction goes smoothly so that the builder’s punch list is properly met, timely inspections are made, and that your interests are protected throughout the entire course of the home buying process.
NO CHARGE TO YOU
It should also be noted that there is no charges made to our clients for this service. We do not charge any fees before, during, or after the process. We are paid a buyer’s agent commission at closing which is usually a percentage (usually 3%) of the final sales price and is paid from the seller’s side of the transaction.
